Day-wise itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Leh — full rest
Our driver meets you at Leh airport. Rest the whole day to let your body adjust to the altitude (about 3,500 m). Drink water, avoid alcohol and heavy exercise. Short evening walk to Leh market only if you feel well.

Day 2 Leh sightseeing — Sham valley road
Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and the Hall of Fame war museum. Drive west to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and the Indus–Zanskar confluence.

Day 3 Monasteries and Khardung La
Shey palace, Thiksey monastery and Hemis monastery, plus the Druk Padma Karpo school. Or, if you prefer, a drive up to Khardung La (road permitting).

Day 4 Departure
Airport drop for your flight.
