Day-wise itinerary

  1. Day 1 Delhi — overnight Volvo to Manali

    Reach the Volvo boarding point in Delhi (Majnu ka Tilla / Kashmere Gate / ISBT, as per your ticket) by early evening. GURU TOURS books two seats together for you. The bus leaves Delhi around sunset and climbs into the hills through the night, with short stops for dinner and tea on the way. Keep a light shawl and your ID handy.

  2. Day 2 Arrival in Manali — Mall Road evening

    The bus reaches Manali in the morning. Our driver meets you at the Manali bus stand and takes you to your hotel (standard check-in is around 12 noon; early check-in depends on room availability). Rest after the journey. In the evening walk down to Mall Road for a coffee, local shopping and the lights of the town. Dinner at the hotel.

  3. Day 3 Solang Valley — snow and adventure day

    After breakfast drive to Solang Valley, the snow and adventure point of Manali. In winter and spring you can play in the snow and try skiing; in summer the slopes are green and the ropeway, paragliding, zorbing and ATV rides are popular (all activities are paid directly on the spot). When the road is open and permits allow, you can continue through the Atal Tunnel to Sissu in Lahaul for a waterfall and river views. Return to Manali by evening.

  4. Day 4 Manali local sightseeing

    A relaxed day in and around Manali. Visit the wooden Hadimba Devi temple in the deodar forest, the Manu temple in Old Manali, the Tibetan monastery near the Mall, Van Vihar by the Beas river and the hot springs of Vashisht village. Spend the late afternoon in the cafés of Old Manali — a favourite with couples. Dinner at the hotel.

  5. Day 5 Shopping and Volvo back to Delhi

    After breakfast check out (luggage can stay at the hotel). Use the free day for shopping — Kullu shawls, caps, dry fruits and local jams. In the evening our driver drops you at the bus stand for the Volvo to Delhi, which reaches the next morning.
