  1. Day 1 Fly to Kullu–Manali airport (Bhuntar) — drive to Manali

    Fly into Kullu–Manali airport at Bhuntar, usually with a connection in Delhi or Chandigarh — this is how most guests from Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune and Ahmedabad reach Manali. Flights to Bhuntar are few and depend on weather, so we may suggest flying to Chandigarh and driving instead. Our driver meets you at arrivals and drives up the Beas valley via Kullu to your Manali hotel.

  2. Day 2 Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel and Sissu

    Morning at Solang Valley, Manali’s snow and adventure point — skiing and snow play in winter and spring, ropeway, paragliding, zorbing and ATV rides in other seasons (activities are paid on the spot). Then drive through the 9 km Atal Tunnel into Lahaul to Sissu village for its waterfall and views of the Chandra river. Return to Manali by evening.

  3. Day 3 Naggar castle and the left-bank villages

    Drive along the quieter left bank of the Beas through apple orchards to Naggar, the old capital of Kullu. Visit the stone-and-wood Naggar castle, the Nicholas Roerich art gallery and the Jana waterfall (season permitting). Lunch with Himachali food is a good idea here. Return to Manali in the afternoon.

  4. Day 4 Manali to Bhuntar airport — departure

    After breakfast check out and drive to Kullu–Manali airport at Bhuntar for your flight home. On the way you can stop at a Kullu shawl factory outlet.
