Day-wise itinerary

  1. Day 1 Delhi — overnight Volvo to Manali

Reach your Volvo boarding point in Delhi (Majnu ka Tilla, Kashmere Gate ISBT or as per ticket) by evening. Most Manali Volvos leave Delhi between 5 pm and 10 pm and drive through the night with short dinner and tea stops. Carry a light shawl, ID and a water bottle.

    • DriveDelhi – Manali 540 km · 12–14 hrs
    • OvernightOvernight bus
  2. Day 2 Arrival in Manali — rest and Mall Road

The Volvo reaches Manali in the morning. Our driver meets you at the Manali bus stand and takes you to your hotel (check-in time is usually 12 noon; early check-in depends on availability). Rest after the overnight journey. In the evening walk along Mall Road for shopping, coffee and the town lights.

  3. Day 3 Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel and Sissu

Morning at Solang Valley, Manali’s snow and adventure point — skiing and snow play in winter and spring, ropeway, paragliding, zorbing and ATV rides in other seasons (activities are paid on the spot). Then drive through the 9 km Atal Tunnel into Lahaul to Sissu village for its waterfall and views of the Chandra river. Return to Manali by evening.

Tourist cars need an online Rohtang permit, issued on a daily quota; the pass is usually closed to tourists on Tuesdays and from late autumn to early summer. If a permit is not available or the pass is closed, we take you to Solang Valley, the Atal Tunnel and Sissu instead. Carry warm clothes and avoid running at the top.
