Short spiti trip — trip overview
This 6 nights / 7 days plan follows the route Sarahan (1N) → Sangla (1N) → Tabo (1N) → Kaza (2N) → Chandratal camp (1N). GURU TOURS plans every day so that mountain drives stay realistic, and we fine-tune hotels, pace and sightseeing to your group before you confirm. The full day-wise itinerary below shows distances, drive times, meals and where you stay each night.
Best time to go
Mid-June to mid-October, when Kunzum La and the Manali–Kaza road are usually open. The Shimla–Kinnaur side stays open longer but winters are very cold.

Day 1 Shimla to Sarahan
Via Narkanda and Rampur; Bhimakali temple in the evening.

Into the Baspa valley.

Day 3 Sangla to Tabo
Long scenic drive down to the Sutlej, past Khab and Nako to Tabo.

Day 4 Tabo to Kaza
Tabo monastery, then Dhankar on the way to Kaza.

Day 5 Kaza sightseeing
Key, Kibber, Langza and Hikkim.

Day 6 Kaza to Chandratal
Kunzum La and the lake camps.

Via Batal and the Atal Tunnel to Manali.
